We were founded in 2020 by Bridgette Taylor. In 2023, Ryan Murphy joined as Harridan’s Co-Founder and Creative Producer.

What most sets us apart is our complex, award-winning flavor profile. This is accomplished through a combination of our ingredients (certified-organic, locally sourced corn that is subtly and naturally sweet), making our product from scratch (beginning with our corn mash, which is made on-site at our distillery) and only twice-distilling (thereby preserving the beauty and flavor of our natural ingredients).

Many vodkas are distilled upwards of five times. This is done for 2 reasons: to filter out impurities and flavors from lower quality ingredients; and/or to create a more neutral spirit. More times distilled isn't "better" - it's simply a matter of preference. Because we strive to maintain as much natural flavor of our ingredients as possible, we say fewer times is better!

Harridan was designed to be tasted. While the Harridan team prefers to enjoy on the rocks with an orange or lemon slice, Harridan is excellent in any spirit-forward cocktail - including martinis and gimlets, as well as pre-Prohibition classics, such as a Last Word. Harridan can also be used in cocktails that may traditionally use gin or whiskey. Its flavor lends itself to versatility.
